You’ve probably seen us before, maybe you’ve even bought from us. From airports to city centers, our products appear in thousands of stores around the world. Chances are, you’ve walked past a Robin Ruth display, picked up a bag, or worn a cap without ever noticing the name behind it.

In 1996, Boaz Avrahami arrived in Amsterdam with an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for travel. He started small, selling ties out of a suitcase to local shops and markets. Every day, he walked through the city’s canals, knocking on doors, introducing himself, learning the business firsthand. 

Amsterdam’s energy inspired him, its mix of travelers, cultures, and creativity. He saw people from all over the world looking for a way to take a piece of the city home with them. That’s when an idea sparked: what if souvenirs could be fashionable, not just functional? 

In those early days, Boaz met Sunny and Lingling, who shared his vision and opened his eyes to new opportunities in China. Together, they turned his local idea into something much bigger, combining creativity in Europe with production possibilities in Asia.

Boaz began designing modern, city-inspired accessories, items that told the story of a place but felt stylish enough to wear anywhere. What started as a few tie designs turned into bags, caps, and socks, each representing the personality of a city. 

He named it Robin Ruth, after his daughter, a name that reminded him why he started in the first place.

From that moment, the idea grew fast. Boaz connected with countless partners around the world. People who also believed in the vision and became part of the Robin Ruth family. 

Two decades later, Robin Ruth has become a global fashion and lifestyle brand, available in thousands of stores across more than 60 countries and worn by millions of people who love to explore. 

What started with one suitcase in Amsterdam is now the world’s most recognized fashion souvenir brand, built on creativity, curiosity, and a love for travel that continues to inspire us every day.
